In our controlled experiment we aimed at boosting up the nitrogen levels with the purpose of the growth of lettuce after remediation to be higher than the lettuce that had no changes in the nutrient levels. The growth of lettuce after remediation is equal compared with the growth of the sample planted in the original soil sample. Due to the lack of growth throughout the remediation or original process the survival rate of the two crop samples is zero. From other samples we came to the conclusion that what could be taken into account for the differences in the tasted are the changes that were made to the soil to increase either the texture, pH or nutrient levels. There are a lot of errors that have to be taken into consideration into the results of this experiment. Some of the main errors are the lack of water during a holiday weekend and the placement of the plants with varying temperatures. There were many factors that removed all of the water grom our crops and caused lack of growth.
